For the people.™

Our History

It's pretty amazing when a successful business happens. When you're working away with the right people at something that matters long enough that an incredible opportunity is created. Over time, we realized that the biggest goals require more than just action, they require experience to build something great. Well, that was how breakpoint was started.

We officially opened our doors in 2005 as a small, independent alternative to traditional large management consulting firms. We built our company based on a core foundation: a strategic skill set, deep industry knowledge, an extended network, and, most importantly, the strength of our partnership and commitment to you, our clients.

Today, breakpoint is an independent strategic human capital management practice that brings passion, grit and a track record of success. Being exceptional is the name of the game. We lead strategic initiatives by planning, aligning, and driving results. We are passionate about delivering growth and sustainable value through a partnership with executive leaders that are dedicated to being the best.

Since I was a young child, I’ve been interested in pulling things apart that didn’t work well to look for opportunities to make them work better. As time moved on, I realized that this was a simple way to challenge what has been done; to look at it with a fresh perspective, to re-imagine strategies to create truly human improvements to the way the world works and lives.

Central to my partnership with leaders and organizations, is attention to the stories of why and how people do what they do to identify opportunities to improve the alignment of critical organization functions and talent along with changing business needs and priorities. I am excited to work where there is an opportunity to influence building socially responsible workplaces that utilize the best policies and practices in support of creating cultures that engage people in innovation and growth as a new norm in both private and public sectors.

COMMITMENT TO SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: A valued member of numerous, private sector, NGO and non-profit organizations.

SYMBOLIC RELATIONSHIPS: Helping your employees grow and realize their potential while they help you grow and prosper.

BEING THE CHANGE: Leadership behaviours and models that provide the tools to be a change leader.

EYE TO THE FUTURE: Foreseeing the next opportunity and adapting to seize it.

HEART OF THE ORGANIZATION: Providing the best information and training so your business can sprint to the finish line.
